Salman Rushdie's book, Midnight's Children, is to be made into a film by Deepa Mehta. I look forward to it!Rushdie's infamous in Iran for The Satanic Verses. I thought it was a very funny book. As Poe's law states:
"it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that someone won't mistake for the real thing"
